Where appropriate, it may support joint function and make it easier to engage with exercise and rehabilitation. Decisions around its use are always made case-by-case.
Ostenil Plus
Ostenil Plus is a hyaluronic acid injection developed for osteoarthritis care. It is designed to restore the balance of hyaluronic acid within the joint, which may help reduce pain and stiffness while improving mobility in selected synovial joints such as the knee, hip, or shoulder.
Ostenil Plus also contains mannitol and is commonly used as a single-injection option, making it a practical choice for suitable patients who want joint lubrication support without corticosteroid as the main treatment component.
Cingal
Cingal is a combination joint injection that brings together hyaluronic acid with corticosteroid in a single injection for selected osteoarthritis cases. It is positioned to provide faster short-term anti-inflammatory relief from the steroid component alongside longer-lasting lubrication and support from the hyaluronic acid component.
This makes Cingal a useful option when both early symptom relief and longer-duration joint support are important treatment goals, provided it is clinically appropriate for the individual case.
